Experience a "breath-centric" approach to Yoga practice. Discover the art and science of sequencing. Learn about appropriate personal adaptations in asana. Gain a comprehensive understanding and approach to Yoga.
Develop skills to deepen your own personal practice, teach yoga or take your teaching skills to a new level of proficiency and elegance.
Authentic transmission of Viniyoga. Mentorship from faculty, home study that is applicable to your personal practice and life, and a supportive adult learning community is what you can expect, and more.
Join Juris Zinbergs, E-RYT 500, CYT, a founding member of Western Yoga Therapy, along with other Yoga-Alliance certified, guest Viniyoga teachers for a deep immersion into Yoga methodology. This program transmits an understanding of Viniyoga as evolved by Gary Kraftsow, MA, E-RYT 500, from the teachings of his Teachers, T.K.V. Desikachar and T. Krishnamacharya of Madras, India.
This training will take place over twelve weekends. We are honored to offer this training in the safety and comfort of your own home, and in person We are honored and grateful for help from the University of California, Irvine, where Juris has taught yoga for over 25 years.
Western Yoga Therapy will offer limited scholarships for this program, thanks to the generous support of our academic community.
